Indoor Visitation Policy

PURPOSE: To provide guidelines in visitation to our residents. This facility follows the recommendations from CMS and has met the criteria for tier 3 phase of re-opening the facility for visitation. All residents who are NOT on isolation, or being quarantined due to known, or suspected, COVID -19 are allowed outdoor, or indoor visitation. The outdoor visitation policy remains unchanged.

PROCEDURES FOR INDOOR VISITATION

1. Indoor visitations are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11: 00 AM to 5:00 PM.

2. All visitors must complete a questionnaire and have their temperatures taken before visitation.

3. All visitors must wear a face mask for the entire visitation and conduct hand hygiene. It is encouraged that visitors have their own hand sanitizers and conduct hand hygiene upon arrival and before leaving the facility. If not, the facility will provide hand sanitizer.

4. All visitors must practice social distancing by keeping a distance of at least 6 feet. Visitation will only be allowed inside the resident’s rooms. Visitors will not be allowed in any other areas of the facility.

5. Due to the strict social distancing, there can only be one person to visit at a time inside of the resident’s rooms. Exceptions may be allowed if no more than 2 are from the same family.

6. Length of visitation is limited to 30 minutes per visit. We will make exceptions to visitors who are traveling from out of town from cities that are not from active red zones and must meet the questionnaire criteria for visitation.

7. Bags, boxes, luggage on wheels, and excessive packages may not be allowed inside the facility.

8. Appointments must be made 24 hours in advance before visitation. This will allow the facility to manage crowd control.

9. Visitors exhibiting any types of cough, cold, or flu-like symptoms will not be allowed visitation.

10. All visitors are required to sign in: record date, time, address, and telephone number.

11.All visits will be supervised to ensure infection control practices are being utilized and 6-foot separations are being maintained.
